As presented by Dave Robinson on Thursday, September 5 during the official opening. This year alone close to 200 people will volunteer their time to help make the 170th Orono Fair a success. The Websters Dictionary states a volunteer is an: “Individual who performs hours of service’ for civic, charitable, or humanitarian reasons, without promise, expectation or receipt of compensation for services rendered.”
