Trilliums Ontario’s Provincial flower since 1937

Where I grew up, we were surrounded by woodland. Each spring, as the frosts retreated and the saturated grounds become passable, it was a treat to wander into the edges of the woods and gaze about hoping for a glimpse of a beloved trio of white petals.
