Bill Hannah is a second world war veteran. When you have sailed the seven seas as a merchant marine, you get to go home and have a happy life. When Hannah was discharged in 1946, he came home to his wife Barb and the rest of his life. Hannah spent a short time working in a grocery store in Oakville, then on May 26th 1947, he joined Ontario Hydro. He remembers the day well, because that was the start of a new life.
