The Cenotaphs dotted around our local communities pay homage to local area men who lost their lives in the World Wars. There are how-ever a number of local area men whose names have not been inscribed upon the local granite monuments who also made the ultimate sacrifice, but who are believed to be from the local area. Lest we forget, today we share some of their stories.
