Members of the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area Advisory Committee braved the wet weather on Saturday to plant a variety of wild flowers. Brian Reid tells us “This is the 6th year OPG has funded the program to enhance the habitat for Monarch Butterflies and other pollinators.” Monarchs are on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUNC)red list of endangered species.
