On Saturday, July 30, Ana-Rey Nielsen and her brother Marcus were busy selling toys, sweet treats and lemonade in order to raise funds for the Clarington Animal Shelter. “We wanted to help the shelter because a lot of people are giving cats and dogs back that they got during COVID,” says the children’s mom, Chantal Nielsen. Ana-Rey added, “we have a dog Chloe, and I love her. That’s why we want to help. “The family raised $200 for the shelter and are very excited to drop the money off to support the animals.
