Grade 8 students from St. Francis of Assisi (L to R), Trevor Zachanowich, Evan Pazienza and Jet Sanderson were right there supporting their parents for the end of year trip fundraiser last Saturday. The weather was dicey, rain, ice pellets and intermittent sun, but it didn’t dampen the group’s enthusiasm. This parent driven initiative was one of a few barbecues, bottle drives and raffles to help support the Camp Muskoka overnight outing in June for their children, wrapping up their elementary school career with a memorable experience.
