It was an early start for the cyclists who tackled the 56km on Sunday at the first annual Hike or Bike fundraiser for Clarington Hospice. At the end of the day the total amount raised was $134,379.75. The community showed up big time. Signed up for the event were 107 hikers/runners and 39 bikers. Clarington Hospice was recently renamed Marigold Hospice Care. The groundbreaking ceremony is taking place on October 13 at 10 a.m at the site on Cobbledick Road.
