Remembrance through the archives: The Canadian Expeditionary Force

The Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) was in sum, the total entirety of the force deployed overseas during World War One. Of 630,000 enlisted Canadians, 424,000 crossed the Atlantic as part of the CEF. While smaller support units existed within the CEF, the Canadian Corps which fought on the Western front was by far the largest.
