Last Sunday and Monday, the community room at the Orono Arena was a hive of activity, with over eighty quilters piecing together and sewing quilts for the benefit of the children who need to make use of Ronald McDonald Houses. The initiative was hosted by Anne Bickell and her business partner and daughter, Ashley (Bickell) Maartense who are the owners of Annie’s Quilt Shop.
