This past weekend the Oster household grew by one. She is seven weeks old and her name is Starr. She is a Springador – her daddy is a black Labrador Retriever, her mommy a black and white Springer Spaniel.
It has been about 13 years since we had a dog. Number two son has been wanting one for an eternity – but, I was holding out until her was old enough to do most of the work.
Everyday is a learning experience – for both Starr and her humans. Our kids don’t know it – but they are about to learn some very important life lessons.
