Port Granby – the long and winding road

Port Granby is almost hidden away in the very, very south east corner of Clarington. The most direct route is taking Lakeshore Road from Mill Street South in Newcastle and head east. Follow the road over hill and dale until you come to a bend to the north. And yes, that is an old wooden bridge ahead. Built in 1856, it is still quite solid and will hold you and your car. Head east, then south and then east again over a few railway tracks.
