The Clarington Eagles came up short by a single goal in their quest for the PJHL championship. After compiling a 2-1 record in the round-robin games among conference winners, the Eagles were seeded second in the four-team tournament. Clarington knocked off third place Stayner in the semi-final game. In the Final game for the Clarence Schmalz Cup, the Eagles were edged 3-2 by the Wellesley Applejacks. This was the second year in a row that Clarington had reached the Finals. Last season, they lost the Final game by a single goal, as well.
