Orono Post Office raffle

The Canada Post Community Foundation supports groups that help children and youth through a variety of initiatives, including literacy and language programs, youth outreach services, arts and recreation and many more. All funds raised at retail locations are given back to children’s organizations in that province. Post Master Denise Allen (L) and Amy Fluwell are overwhelmed with this year’s donations. Allen encourages local schools and groups to apply. Tickets for the raffle are $2.00 each and 3/$5.00. Allen would like to thank all who contributed to the raffle. Brimacombe, Orono Country Café; Sunny’s Restaurant; Arbonne, donated by Sarah Delore; Annie’s Quilt Shop; Avon, donated by Jeniffer Wild; Terrens Wellness Centre; Apple Blossom Flower Shop; iWood; Orono Veterinary Hospital; Soper Creek Yarn; Strands Studio; Orono Weekly Times x3; Susan Aitken Candles; Durham Farmers’ Co-op; Stutt’s Pharmacy; Pampered Chef, donated by Sarah Delore; Tupperware, donated by Tammy Jones; Kendal Heights Décor; Green Tractors Orono; Easthill Outdoors x3; Calm Surrender, Little Caesars Bow-manville. The raffle continues until October 23.
