Orono Post office raffle to help kids in our community

The Canada Post Community Foundation supports registered charities, school programs and other local initiatives. Post Master Denise Allin organizes the community raffle every year and encourages local schools and groups to apply. Tickets for the raffle are $2.00 each and 3/$5.00. There are two other ways to support the fundraiser: buy a book of stamps for an extra $1 and it is donated back to the foundation; or make a monetary donation. Allin would like to thank all who contributed to the raffle. Terrens Wellness Centre, Easthill Outdoors, Annie’s Quilt Shop, Orono Community Collective, Brimacombe, Orono Weekly Times, Travelling Critters, Tim Hortons (115 Hwy), Durham Co-op, Stutts Pharmacy, Durham Custom Wood Décor, M2 Perspectives, Strands Studio, Apple Blossom Flowers, Andrea Wallace, Tammy Jones, Jeniffer Wild and Susan Atkins – PartyLite. The raffle continues until October 27.
