OHS the essence of volunteerism

Every project needs a leader. One who not only thinks of a good idea but has what it takes to get other people onside. Then they stick to the goal long enough to carry it out. In our case, our leader was Beryl Clark. In 2019 Beryl recognized the significance of the Horticultural Society’s 100th anniversary. She then formed a planning committee to recognize the occasion. She has gently – but persistently, kept us focussed ever since.
