Oshawa Generals ousted by Ottawa in OHL playoffs
The Oshawa Generals were the decided underdog in their first-round play-off matchup against the Ottawa 67’s. The Generals snuck into the playoffs as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 26-36-1-5 record for 58 points, edging out Kingston by a single point for the final playoff slot. Ottawa, meanwhile, dominated the regular season and finished in first place with 107 (51-12-3-2) points.
