Sam Kent will have copies of ‘Clarington Honours Our Veterans’ booklet for sale this Friday, October 4 and 11 at the Orono Farmers’ Market; and, Sunday, October 6 and 13 at the Clarington Farmers’ Market in Newcastle. Cost is $10. Other than at Sam’s market stands, the book will be offered for sale at the Legion Branch 178 in Bowmanville. Since its inception in 2019, [to date] 156 veterans have been honoured with a banner, proudly displayed for Remembrance Day in seven different Clarington communities, including Hampton, Newcastle, Orono, Tyrone, Newtonville, Courtice and Bowmanville.
