Community Care Durham had a guest volunteer on Wednesday. Councillor Margaret Zwart delivered a Meals on Wheels food basket to Jean Osborne. Osborne, who is 90 this weekend, has welcomed the food baskets for the last five years, since an accident in the barn left her relying on a walker to get around. Osborne has a history with CCD. Prior to her being a recipient, she was a volunteer with the organization.
