It was a points and class night on Tuesday for the Newcastle Gardening Club. The United Church Dining room was bursting with colourful displays of every type of flower you would find in a summer garden. In their respective classes, Marie Speziale came in first with 32 points, Kathy Mercz second with 29 and Robin Blesse with 25. Marie Speziale showed a number of flowers, but the roses were special.
