John McFeeters – The second metamorphosis

The shores of Lake Ontario attract Monarch butterflies and at one point a few years back, made the old spruce trees in the Walton-Ball back yard a stop over location before heading off to the southern climes of Mexico for winter. Sandra Walton-Ball was very taken with the sight of hundreds of monarchs all in the same place at the same time. She put her artistic talents to work to capture them on canvas. Her interest in the Monarch was now well established and preserved.
