Newtonville resident Pat Powless, second from left, and her family made a donation to Marigold Hospice Care of $1000 in honour of Pat’s mom Nancy Kerr from her estate sale. Nancy was a life long volunteer and she was honoured with the Governor General Award in 2017 for volunteering 50+ years. She continued volunteering into her 90s until COVID when volunteers were no longer permitted in the hospitals.
