A Gift of Art in Newcastle received a $50,000 Community Building Fund Grant. The grant was awarded by the Government of Ontario and delivered by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to help non-profit organizations with needed operating costs following the impact of COVID-19. On Friday, November 19 MPP David Piccini, Mat Stephenson, OTF volunteer, Mayor Foster and Councillor Margaret Zwart met with representatives from A Gift of Art to congratulate the local arts group.
