Gord Lowery is well recognized in town as Mr. Soccer. As well, he has two certificates from 2013, indicating he was recognized as “Senior of the Year” by the Province of Ontario, and the Municipality of Clarington. He still enjoys being involved in sports and still walks to the arena whenever the word game is mentioned. “I’m a soccer man.” But you may notice him at hockey games too.
