Entertainer and Wilmot Creek resident Jeannette Vandervooren is hosting a two-hour dance fundraiser for Durham Region Hospice – Clarington on Friday, May 26 from 4-6 p.m. at The Wheel House. ‘Playing for a Reason’ is the theme for Jeannette’s event and she is inviting the community to come out, have fun and contribute to a good cause. Jeannette is a one-woman band. She plays guitar, sax, banjo, harmonica, mandolin and of course vocals. She has been entertaining for the last 20 years. The event is BYOB.
