Saturday, June 1 was declared ‘World Neighbour Day’ a tradition Colette Descent, here with her husband Tim Legere, hopes will build steam in years to come. Colette reported a total of 45 people (26 adults,19 kids) attended her pizza party, visitors to her driveway filled four big totes with food donations for the Clarington East Food Bank. This community building event connected neighbours making our streets, neighbourhoods, towns and cities more resilient, healthy and thriving.
