No decision was made at the June 15 council meeting regarding the application by Kaleido Corporation (formerly Landmark-Newcastle Limited) to amend Zoning By-law 84-63 to permit a 15-unit townhouse development at the South-East Corner of Mill Street and Robert Street in Newcastle. Iinstead it was referred to the June 29 Planning and Development Committee Meeting to allow further discussions with the developer to consider lowering the height of the homes and to consider fewer units.
