As spring’s splendor starts to emerge, so do invasive species. Dog-strangling Vine is hardy in our area and it is one you need to get a handle on. “Dog-strangling Vine will grow anywhere,” said Alan Herring, chair Orono Horticultural Society. “Cows and goats won’t eat Dog Strangler Vine (DSV). It is toxic and it will kill your plants.”
