If cottaging or preparing to head back to school or work wasn’t on the agenda for Labour Day, a great way to spend some of the time was giving blood at the Canadian Blood Services donation clinic. Held at the Newcastle Fellowship Baptist Church again this summer, people streamed in all day, either by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
