Clarington overnight warming centre now open at St. Paul’s United Church in Bowmanville

Just over two weeks ago, St. Paul’s United Church, well known for their outreach programs, has added another initiative to their mission to serve the community. Located in the church basement, there is now an overnight warming centre available during the winter months for people who are living on the streets and or precariously housed. The 10-bed warming centre, accessed through the side door of the Silver Street entrance, is open from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m., seven days a week to people 18 years of age and older, and it is pet friendly.
