Flames reach Finals in St. Thomas tourney
The Clarington 18U A Flames were in St. Thomas for the Big Cat Pre-Season Showdown last weekend. A sweep of the round-robin games gave the Flames first seed entering the playoff games. They won their semi-final match but were downed in the Final game. In preliminary games, the Flames doubled up (4-2) on the Lambton Attack, edged (3-2) the St. Thomas Panthers and dominated (6-1) the Haldimand Rivercats. Their 3-0 record was best in the four team division.
