It was a beautiful day on Saturday for Kirby Church Books’ Annual Bazaar. Jorgia, Monaco and Ainslie welcomed shoppers, sold raffle tickets and helped out wherever they were needed. From the abundance of lovely hats, mittens, scarves and blankets the Kirby Church Knitters have been very busy. Volunteers made 87 bag lunches with less than half left by 11:30 and 42 pies were baked – gone in 30 minutes. Anything left over will be available Saturdays until November 25 when Kirby Church Books closes until spring.
