Archives: Election records set during the 1950’s

As Canadians prepare to head to the polls in a federal election next month, the Orono Times is looking back at past elections. The 1950s were a see-saw decade in Canadian politics, with a majority leadership for one party at the turn of the decade completely overturned by the end of the decade. It also saw increased interest in emerging parties.
