In a world where community newspapers are becoming extinct or being gobbled up by corporations, we are very fortunate our weekly paper (published continuously for 83 years) is alive and well. Julie Cashin-Oster who bought the paper in August of 2018 says “I wanted it to be a very community-based paper, celebrating what people are doing. I also want it to be a communications vehicle for organizations to get their stories out.”
