Last Friday, my son Iain started his new life in a sustainable supported living home. He is with caring and knowledgeable people in a congregate setting with residents of his own age, and he will enjoy a level of independence he has not experienced in his 30 years of life. That’s the good news. How we got to this point is a story our family and friends will never forget.
