On June 19, 1948, Barbara Allin married William Hannah. Barb and Bill lived in Orono for 48 years, where they were active in the United Church. They also garnered many friends through their work with Community Care, delivering Meals on Wheels. Bill is a Royal Canadian Navy WWII veteran, and retired from Hydro in a timely manner. In her professional life, Barb put her exceptional math skills to work in a bond house on Bay Street, and later in a doctor’s clinic. Bill is still well known for his harness racing passion, and was in the sulky on many tracks in southern Ontario. They have two children, Susan from Cobourg and Michael from Hawaii. Bill turned 97 on June 7 and Barb will be 96 in November. We wish them continued prosperity.
