The Newcastle Lions Club Walk for Guide Dogs was in full swing last Saturday. Did you know it costs $30,000 a year to train a guide dog? This handsome group of Guide Dogs in Training with their humans from LtoR: Esther & Telsa; Pat & Nancy; Susan & Zaidie; Christine & Hutch (Hutch is a working guide dog); Eleanor & Ahri; Anne & Freddy; and Linda Bray, president of the Newcastle Lions Club. Freddy is a proud Guide Dog ‘stud dog’.
