Sunday’s freezing temps allowed for some outdoor skating at the Pearce Farm Park in the Port of Newcastle. On site there is a red flag when closed and green flag when open. Please heed the flag and do not test the ice yourself. The rink is generally open 7am-11pm but it is safe to say if we have had rain or above zero temperatures it is likely closed until below zero temperatures have maintained for at least 24 hours.
