On Saturday, September 11, The Orono Horticultural Society dedicated a Freeman Mason tree they planted last fall in Orono Park to commemorate their 100th Anniversary. Alan Herring, club president and Carol Mostert (left side), along with Mayor Adrian Foster and Lorna Atkins cut the celebratory ribbon. Carol and Lorna have been members for 50 years. The Orono Horticultural Society had a long list of events scheduled for this year, we look forward to celebrating their golden anniversary next year – post COVID.
